Baby Boston was last seen dancing in my belly today at 3:03pm

12/09/08 - 4th ultra sound.
Okay so I’m going to skip all the info about not feeling well, being very tired, only eating carbs and 24/7 nausea that I've been experiencing the last month and just skip to the good stuff!

However, just to backtrack a bit.....below are a couple of appointments leading up to our 4th ultrasound.

I had the first ultrasound done at 5 weeks to see how far along I was b/c my HCG levels were high (11,200). Through this u/s they guessed my due date as July 5th.

One week later, I was feeling bad and had symptoms that could indicate a miscarriage so I had a second ultra sound at 6 weeks. At this appointment we saw a dot and a heartbeat, 107. This is when my mom officially named our baby 'Dot'. My due date was changed to July 6th.

The next week, (week 7) I went back for another u/s to make sure the heart rate was progressing, and it was. It was 146. The baby no longer looked like a dot, but my pregnancy book said it was the size of a grape. This is when my mom named my baby, Baby Grape :) My due date was changed to July 8th.

Today, we went to my Doctor thinking I was 9 weeks and 6 days along, but after looking at the ultrasound and different measurements; my Dr determined that I am 10 weeks 6 days along and my new "official" due date is July 2nd, 2009. One day before Nate turns 30!!! This ultrasound was amazing. You could see the baby's head, spinal cord, fingers, arms, legs and it was dancing around in my belly! Very cute. The heart rate is now at its peak and was 171 today; however don't get any ideas my Dr. said it's totally a myth about what sex the baby will be based on heart rate.

Next blog: February 26th - Nate and I find out the sex of the baby!
