End of Month 10 - Update
There are only a few more days until Tyler is 11months old and I wanted to make note of a few things that have happened this month.
1. Tyler LOVES to play 'chase'
2. He is now an expert at crawling UP the stairs.
3. He thinks it's funny to roll around on Milton's bed. Milton gets jealous.
4. He loves cats and dogs, but Milton always runs away from Tyler.
5. Tyler moved up to the next classroom at daycare. He is the youngest in his class by about 2 months and all the babies can walk. (expect Ty).
6. Tyler no longer eats Jar Food. In fact, he pretty much hates it. He would much rather be a big boy and pick up his food with his chubby little hands.
7. He can pretty much eat and chew anything at this point! He only has 2 teeth but does really well chewing with his gums!
8. We FINALLY (2 days ago) stopped giving him a bottle right before bed! Now he has dinner, his 7 oz bottle an hour later and then we start bath time about 30 minutes after that. All in all, he is becoming less interested in story time (I think I need new interactive books). Once I turn out the lights and calm him for a few minutes, I lay him in his crib almost asleep and leave his room. This is follow by a couple minutes of crying and then subsides to playing with all his binkies I leave in the crib and then taking about 10-15 minutes to put himself to sleep.
9. Ty is more interested in getting into everything that he knows is a 'Yuck' or 'No Thank You'. (ex. opening the toilet lid, going for the basement stairs, trying to pull the plugs out of the wall, etc)
10. He likes playing in the baby pool with his favorite girls. (ME, Ri, & Jillie Bean). He refuses to wear his baby swim hat and sunglasses.
11. If you point to an object and say "Tyler, do you see the __?" He Always laughs and thinks that it's funny! He especially likes when I ask him about the fan.
12. Ty now knows where is belly button is, where is pee pee is, and where his nose is!
13. I bought a Baby Hawk to carry him around in and most of the time he likes it!
14. Tyler tried to say Grandma twice! Once for each of Nate's Great Grandmas
15. Sometimes after drinking water or while eating dinner, Tyler will say 'Good'. We always ask him, Tyler is that Good?
16. Food = OBSESSION with all fruits and cottage cheese. He also likes corn and black beans.
Lastly, Tyler went to the Dr on June 1st to get his 2nd round of Polio and he weighed 21 lbs 15oz and was 30 inches long. He is getting to be a big boy!!!
